Devine experience Our whole family (with the exception of my husband because he was studying for an exam) went camping this weekend. In my last post we spoke about a few practical ways to teach yourself how to start spending time with God. Now the next thing that is important for spiritual growth is Prayer. Prayer is a dialogue with God. In prayer you can absolutely lay yourself at the feet of Christ and talk to Him. Pray with passion! God says in His word that only prayers that is prayed with Faith will be answered. In my last post I described how I see the best way is for anyone to get to know and love themselves. lets start with step one and delve deeper in the next few posts. 1. Time with God. There is an immense shifting in your soul when you start to crave the word of God, when you start to leave your own needs and wants behind and start to ask God for His will in your life. BUT believe me it is not easy at first. Habits In this day and age whare every second is a second to short the usual exscuse of not enough time usually surfaces if it comes to the idea of spending time with God. This is the first hurdle to overcome if you want to start to know and love yourself as God does. It is very important to set a habbit of studying the bible regularly.
